FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Minimal discomfort may be felt during the procedure, depending on the characteristics of the body and the thickness and sensitivity of the skin. Anesthetics are used to reduce the pain to a minimal sensation.

The duration of the treatment depends on the area and technique chosen. The treatment time includes a consultation, clarification of the client's needs, selection of the shape, sketching and the treatment itself. On average, a permanent make-up treatment takes between 1.5 and 2 hours.

Each case is individual, so it is essential to consult a master. My most common recommendation is to laser the old work and not to layer the pigment. Then we can get a more natural result. It is always best to come in for a consultation and only after assessing the work in real life can you decide whether or not you need a procedure to remove old pigment.

  • If you are planning a trip where it will be very hot and sunny, the procedure should be carried out 1 month before the trip.
  • During pregnancy.
  • If you have wounds, herpes, very dry, scratchy skin in the area where the treatment will be performed. The treatment can only be carried out once everything has fully healed.

Cosmetics are not recommended for use on affected skin. Wait until the scab has fallen off and the skin has fully healed. Afterwards, you can use decorative cosmetics as normal.

Immediately after the procedure, the lips are slightly swollen. The swelling usually subsides within a couple of hours. In the morning, swelling may return. The day after the treatment, apply an ointment/wax to the lips as prescribed by the master. On the third day, the lips start to feel chafing, which disappears within a few days. Immediately after the treatment, the lips are brighter, healed and lightened by 30-50%, with the true colour appearing after a month.

Correction is necessary. The first procedure is designed to get to know the skin, to find out how much pigment remains in the skin and how it heals. Correction is therefore necessary to even out the colour, as the pigment may remain unevenly during the healing process. We also look at the healed result and depending on the client's needs, we can highlight, choose a warmer or cooler shade.

It is very important to me that the client feels safe and trusts the master, or rather that the master becomes the client's friend and advisor, otherwise how will the client put his/her face in the hands of the master?
